Carnation Evaporated Milk Recipe Booklet

Evaporated_milk Having lived almost 12 years with a Carnation heir, I'm well versed in the company's fascinating history. Sadly, the Carnation name has been slowly disappearing from many of their innovative products since Nestle bought the company in 1985.  But it's still proudly displayed on the Evaporated Milk product that the company introduced in 1899.  Evaporated milk found its first big market with the gold rush miners.  Next, it significantly lowered the incidence of illness from spoiled milk - a leading summertime cause of infant and childhood death before refrigeration was widely available.  Starting in the 1930s, Carnation promoted the use of evaporated milk for cooking with free recipe booklets.  That tradition continues today.  Nestle teamed up with kitchen guru Pam Anderson to create a modern recipe booklet, and is giving it away free with a chance to win Pam's cookbook Cook Smart.

I used to make a corn casserole made with Carnation Evaporated milk. I made it as far back as 1979. I'd like to try it again, but can't locate the recipe.

My mother made a chiffon pie with jello and carnation evaporated milk. We had to freeze the bowl and mixer blades. I'd love this recipe, if anyone has it. She made it in the 50's, and possibly late 40's. Thanks

I'd love to have the 1950's recipe for carnatioon milk fudge. I use to make it at Chrisstmas.
